This Generation 1 Virtual Console event is identified by OT GF and Trainer ID 22796. It was delivered by a local trade into Virtual Console Red, Blue or Yellow.

Historical event details

Pokémon: Mew

Distribution: Nintendo UK's Pokémon Festival Mew

Region: United Kingdom

Original distribution period: 22 November 2016

Original games: Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow

Original trainer: GF

Trainer ID: 22796

Language: English

Distribution level: 5

Original move: Pound

Shiny status: non-shiny

Original DVs: 15 in each stored stat; this does not mean modern 6IV

Ball after official transfer: Poké Ball

What makes this event distinct?

The GF/22796 identity also appears on a separate Generation 6 Mew distribution. This record specifically refers to the Generation 1 Virtual Console version, which transfers into a Poké Ball; it is not the XY/ORAS Cherish Ball gift.

Historical properties

The event's fixed OT, Trainer ID, non-shiny status and Virtual Console origin must be retained. Original full DVs do not make this an official shiny event. No shiny version, custom OT, 6IV spread, competitive EV training or Cherish Ball is offered as part of this historical identity.

Virtual Console and Pokémon HOME

The official route for this Virtual Console event is Poké Transporter to Pokémon Bank, then Pokémon HOME. It is a one-way transfer. This route applies to Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console games; it does not establish an official HOME route for original Game Boy cartridges. The transferred Pokémon cannot be returned to Red, Green, Blue or Yellow.

HOME storage does not mean compatibility with every Pokémon game. A transfer from Bank using a Moving Key requires HOME Premium. A HOME Friend Trade uses the mobile app and requires an eligible account. The specific method offered will be confirmed for the available specimen before this product is published.

Availability and specimen identity

Preparation draft — not available to order. Historical event identity and the software transfer route have been checked. PKTS availability, the specimen's Virtual Console origin and the working delivery method still need confirmation. This draft does not certify that a specimen was redeemed at the original event.
